Fusion Freediving Locations

Fusion Freediving has number of locations where we freedive regularly around Bali and the surrounding islands.

Fusion Freediving Locations

Our Freediving Centre is located in Amed, the diving paradise on the north-east coast of Bali, the crystal clear deep blue waters, lack of strong current, deep water close to shore and rich marine life make it the ideal location for learning freediving. This idyllic costal town is the perfect getaway to see a another side of the Balinese experience. It has many fine restaurants serving up great traditional and western cuisine and only the freshest, caught-this-very-day local seafood. We provide free air-conditioned transport between Sanur/Kuta and Amed for anyone doing a Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3 course.

Our secondary teaching location and administrative office is located in Sanur the oldest upscale resort area in Bali and is a mature beach-side town. With an abundance of restaurants and accommodation, it has a quiet and relaxed feel to it. It has long been a centre for water sports activities, with Surfing, Kite Boarding, SUP and many other amazing water based activities to choose from. Unfortunately due to strong and unpredictable currents and shallow water close to shore this is not a good location to learn deep freediving. However we do offer pool courses and training at this location. In Sanur we are located with our partners at the Rip Curl School or Surf water sports centre located on the beach behind the Prama Sanur Beach Hotel.

The small fishing village located 30 km north west of Amed. Famous for its most remarkable attraction: The USAT Liberty WW2 Shipwreck. The Liberty is a US Army transport ship torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942. It was originally towed to this location and beached high and dry to unload its cargo and remained like this for many years until it slid back down into the sea in 1963 a volcanic eruption moved the ship off the beach. The wreck lies about 30 m from the beach and is covered in soft corals, anemone and thousands of tropical fish that have made a home out of this old ship. With depths from 4 to 30 mtrs, the liberty mades one of the most enjoyable freediving destinations. Perfect combination of marine life , swimthroughs and if you are lucky some Napoleon Fish, Turtles and maybe a big school of Jacks welcoming you!
